Aiming to cash in on the success of the previous year's "The Incredible Shrinking Man", this movie boasts not only a miniaturised cat but also, once again, a normal sized cat who appears like a giant to miniaturised people.
The alley cat is more of an ally in this story, however, as he attacks a rat who is after the mad dollmaker's tiny playthings. Whether or not he would ordinarily have eaten everybody in the street is anyone's guess.
