This kitten doesn't really do anything in this old Barbara Steele movie except provide a small jump scare for a writer, Alan Foster (Georges Rivière), who accepts a bet that he cannot spend the night alone in a haunted castle on All Soul's Eve. Ultimately the film ends up as a love story and so it should since the kitten is so adorable anyway.
