Puma
Although Puma does little more than get himself accidentally stepped on by R.J. Dobson (Joseph Conway) at the beginning of the film, he also introduces us to the grave of Lewis B. Moffitt (George E. Mather) and the tale of the unfortunate medical student begins. This overly padded introduction is the best five minutes of the whole movie unfortunately.
Interestingly, a band that plays in the school cafeteria is called "The Campus Cool Cats".
