The Awful Dr. Orlof (1962)

In Jess Franco's clone of "Eyes Without a Face" (1960), a black and white kitten plays with a policeman's pencil on his desk.

Later, a black cat watches Dr, Orlof (Howard Vernon) and his assistant Morpho (Ricardo Valle) arrive with another victim. He's sensible enough to bolt once the fighting begins.
