Bride of the Gorilla (1951)
As you would expect of any movie shot in a week, some stock footage of a black panther (and other animals) is shown just so you know that this is set in a South American jungle. In other words, this is cheap movie and the big cat is meant to be a black jaguar.
Later, as Barney Chavez (Raymond Burr) wanders the wilderness thinking about his curse, a previously rear-projected leopard from a completely different continent appears in the trees.
