Ebony
According to a Thai book of rituals, carrying a black cat while playing "Hide and Seek" at midnight will allow you to see ghosts. Allegedly, once released, the cat will lead the seeker to whoever has been cloaked by a ghost. Ebony amusingly winks at the camera because, of course, none of this is true.
Things go horrible wrong when Gofei (Chris Gu) completely disappears. Ebony runs off to find him as planned but is found dead near a tree with no sign of Gofei anywhere.
Eagle-eyed viewers might spot Ebony's ghost in a creepy scene near the end.
