Mr Jeffries (Tommy Godrey), the ill-fated downstairs neighbour, likes to carry his ginger cat around in the first segment of this Amicus anthology which is entitled "The Gate Crasher".
Don't worry, nothing bad happens to the cat although he will probably need someone else to look after him and read him werewolf stories in the future.
Previously, in the wraparound story, Edward Charlton (David Warner) passed behind a stuffed cat in the antique shop without even noticing it.
