When Maria (Barbara Carrera) turns up on the beach with her pet serval, it jumps free of her arms and runs off with a scarf trailing from its leash. Surely Andrew Braddock (Michael York) isn't that scary yet, but cats do tend to know things.
A tiger also makes a couple of appearances fighting various creatures on the island.
Escaping its cage at the end, a leopard attacks the creatures with somewhat disastrous results as the roof collapses.
Unfortunately, as the building burns, it looks like the lion does not survive.
