It has been suggested that because Mrs Deagle (Polly Holliday) named her cats after currencies from around the world, she only cares about one thing, but you only have to see how well looked after they are to know that her cats are an equally high priority in her life. One even gets brought down to dinner on the stairlift. Talk about spoiled!

Which one is Kopeck and who is the other unnamed black kitty? It's possible that even Mrs Deagle doesn't know for sure.
Dollar Bill
At least Dollar Bill is clearly pointed out and named before being carried over to his dinner.
Drachma
But is this really Drachma or another shot of Dollar Bill? Continuity in this scene was hardly a priority.
The Gremlins do nothing to the cats, by the way. Just as well really because we all know that the cats would win.
Thanks for adding this! One gets the feeling that the film-makers weren't too concerned about differentiating between the cats in this scene....
